The safari leg follows our proven 3-day Tarangire & Ngorongoro itinerary - elephant super-herds and ancient baobabs in Tarangire, followed by a full day inside the Ngorongoro Crater, one of the most reliable Big Five destinations in Africa.
From the crater rim, a short domestic flight connects you to Zanzibar, where four nights on the island give you time to properly decompress. Explore the UNESCO World Heritage site of Stone Town, visit a spice farm, snorkel the coral gardens of Mnemba Atoll, and spend unhurried afternoons on some of the world's most beautiful beaches.

The Experience
Early pickup and drive south to Tarangire National Park for a full-day game drive along the river circuit. Tarangire holds Tanzania's highest elephant density, with super-herds converging on the Tarangire River beneath ancient baobab trees. Overnight at a lodge just outside the park.
